The Jackson Victors defeated the Hattiesburg Forerunners 62-43 on Thursday night to avenge their stunning loss in their opening night game to the Forerunners.
The Forerunners struggled early, leaving points on the board due to missing shots at the rim. The Victors used this start to get the separation that they never gave up. The Victors then cruised to the 19-point win they attained.
The night of three games included 16u girls and boys, with Jackson taking the girls and Hattiesburg taking the boys. The Hattiesburg Forerunners 16u boys team advanced to 5-0 with their 27-15 win over the 1-5 Victors.
The Hattiesburg Forerunners (2-2)[2-2] will travel to Hickory on Tuesday night to take on the Meridian Flyers. The Jackson Victors (3-3)[2-1] will take the court next in Brookhaven Friday night against the Brookhaven Academy Cougars.
