Tomorrow we’re heading to the 18u conference tournament to begin the 3 day battle for the MSAHA Championship trophy.
At this point in time, every team has to be at their best; there’s no room for error anymore.
The tournament will kick off at 10:15 am, with a game featuring the Laurel Knighthawks and the Jackson Victors.
After that, the Hattiesburg Forerunners will play against the Meridian Flyers. The Meridian Flyers are coming off of a good performance in the 16u tournament, but the Hattiesburg Forerunners are as well, placing 2nd overall.
The team that won the 16u tournament was the Muddy River Counselors who are the #1 seed in this tournament as well, meaning that every other team has them in their sights.
You know that any player that plans to be participating in this tournament is already preparing. There is the possibility that teams could play up to 3 games tomorrow, so I’m assuming cramps will be a problem nonetheless.
However, this is the time where if you are not trying your hardest, you might find yourself outhustled and losing in a ball game that you shouldn’t be.
So, no matter how many games you have ahead of you or behind you, you have to give your all no matter what.
