The MSAHA released the final playoff bracket Friday morning after MSAHA play came to a close after the Jackson Victors-Muddy River Counselors games from Thursday night.
The playoffs will be broken up into a longer time period due to COVID-19. Though they start on Jan. 30, the championship games will be held on Feb. 13.
The games will be held in Laurel as the Knighthawks will host the big tournament for the first time. They will be at Salem Heights Baptist Church and Southeastern Baptist College.
The official seedings are mostly consistent with the seeding here on the TSJW Network, but there are some inconsistencies. The following are the final official seedings:
Varsity Boys:
- PCA Paladins
- Jackson Victors
- Laurel Knighthawks
- Meridian Flyers
- Hattiesburg Forerunners
- Muddy River Counselors
- Scott County Flames
Varsity Girls:
- PCA Paladins
- Laurel Knighthawks
- Meridian Flyers
- Jackson Victors
16u Boys:
- Laurel Knighthawks
- Muddy River Counselors
- Jackson Victors
- Meridian Flyers
16u Girls:
- Laurel Knighthawks
- Jackson Victors
- Scott County Flames
- Meridian Flyers
- Hattiesburg Forerunners
The PCA Paladins withdrew from the 16u tournaments as they were the No. 1 seed in all leagues. The defending champion Hattiesburg Forerunners, who began the season 9-0, withdrew from the 16u Boys playoffs due to injuries and players going to school.
Due to most teams not playing the full 12-game slate of conference games, the seedings had to be hashed out by the coaches. This is how those seedings came about.

The 2021 MSAHA Playoffs will begin on Saturday morning, beginning with 16u girls basketball at 10:00 AM. 18U Boys games will be streamed live on the TSJW Network YouTube Channel.
