The Laurel Knighthawks defended home court on Tuesday night when they defeated the Muddy River Counselors 80-39.
Laurel began the game in the driver’s seat, starting the game with a 28-10 first quarter. From there, the Counselors were unable to recover. The Counselors trailed by 25 at halftime, but came out in the second half on a 5-0 run that was looking like a possible comeback. But quickly the Knighthawks scored 7 straight points to extend the lead. After that, Laurel cruised to the 41-point win.
Laurel was lead by Jacob Moree, who finished with 23 points.
