Jackson Academy Routs Short-Handed Victors

The Jackson Academy Raiders (11-0) remain undefeated after breezing past the Jackson Victors who are reeling from injuries.

The undefeated Raiders began leading 7-0, but were unable to get complete separation from the Victors. In the second quarter, the Raiders had a slim 23-16 lead. At this point, the Raiders shut down the Victors, finishing the game on a 35-4 run after that point.

The Victors were without their star player senior guard Gideon Peacock, who went down with a broken hand against the Brookhaven Academy Cougars on Friday night. Peacock still managed to drop 32 points in a narrow loss to the PCA Paladins in Louisiana on Saturday.

Junior forward Ethan Hendry went down during the game against the Raiders, resulting in him having to get stitches above his eye. With all these issues, the Victors lost to the Raiders 58-20.

The night was rough for the Victors overall, as JA won every game by considerable margins.

The Jackson Victors (3-6)[2-2] next take the court hosting the CHA Flame on Thursday night. The undefeated Jackson Academy Raiders (11-0) next take the floor hosting the Brookhaven Academy Cougars on Friday night.
