Isaiah Davis Wins MSAHA Conference Player of the Year, Headlining 2022 All-Conference Selections

As the Day 1 of the 2022 MSAHA Playoffs draws to a close, the conference gathers for the skills competition night and the unveiling of the MSAHA All-Conference teams.

Isaiah Davis led the way for the boys. The 6’6″ senior forward took the top player honor and was followed at No. 2 by Junior big Kai Welch. Elliot Tulip, Colyn Ericksen, and Silas Ensign rounded out the first team.

The second team was headlined by eighth grader Sun Michael Williams at No. 6. He was followed by Nash Spicer, Gabe McDonald, Colin Crosby, and Chris Purnell.

The MSAHA Girls All-Conference was headlined by Salome’ Borelly at No. 1. She was followed by Emily Sherman, Makaela Rummells, Anna Kate Hutson, and Moriah Pierce to round out the first team.

The second team for girls starts with Kenna Turner at No. 6. She is followed by Olivia Spradley, Trista Sims, Avery Rummells, and Rylie King.

There were also alternates added from each team. This is to form the MSAHA All-Star team. They will face off against the Jackson Prep Patriots on Feb. 11 in Flowood. That game will lord-willing be streamed on the TSJW Network YouTube.
