Hey Hey Muddy River!
Jackson Counselors Homeschool Sports had an excellent time of fellowship and service as they carried out a work day at Lifting Lives shelter in Vicksburg, MS.
The Counselors painted benches and performed maintenance on a playground. They got rid of some unwanted brush, raked leaves, swept up debris and put together a basketball goal for the residents.
They played jackpot, swung on swings and even played a 5 minute pick up game of basketball before they called it a day.
Willis Williams, the coach of the Muddy River Counselors thought the day was a success. He commented, “We’re going for Harmony. Harmony in the body; Harmony in the Body of Christ. The Lord blessed us with an excellent vibe. Fun time.”
