Despite an Anti-Climactic Finish, the PCA Paladins Repeat as MSAHA 18UG Champions

The PCA Paladins defeated the Jackson Lady Victors 46-42 in overtime at Southeastern Baptist College to capture back-to-back MSAHA 18UG titles.

The game was close throughout, but the Paladins always had the edge. PCA was led by Espy Borrelly with 18 points and Avery Boggs with 16 points while Jackson was led by Mikaela Rummels, who had 16 points.

In overtime, the Paladins were able to pull away for a 47-42 win. But with 11 seconds left, Avery Boggs went down with a knee injury on a change of direction, causing the Paladins’ celebration to be tempered.
