The #3 Laurel Knighthawks defeated the #1 PCA Paladins Friday morning to advance to the championship round of the MSAHA Playoffs.
Laurel pounded on PCA from the start, opening the game with a 13-2 lead. They managed to keep this double-digit lead for the rest of the game. The Paladins were without Autrail Manning, who it is still unclear whether he will be back tomorrow. Daniel Cooper arrived at halftime, and though he was a factor in the second half, the Knighthawks were rolling. Kai Welch finished the ball game with 19 points and Jack Flynt finished with 17.
With the win, the Knighthawks advance to the MSAHA Finals for the third straight year.
