PCA Defeats Knighthawks 73-59, Strengthen Grip On the No. 1 Seed

The PCA Paladins defeated the Laurel Knighthawks on Saturday afternoon 73-59 in LaCombe, LA.

The game stayed close for most of the contest, but the Paladins were able to pull away in the fourth quarter for the victory.

The PCA Paladins (7-6)[5-1] are now the likely No. 1 seed heading in to the MSAHA Tournament in February. They next hit the floor when they take on Grace Baptist Academy on their home floor on Thursday night.

The Laurel Knighthawks (8-5)[6-3] are currently in the No. 2 slot in the MSAHA after Saturday’s loss. Yet, they could fall lower as they have more losses than the 3 seeded Jackson Victors, but they will have another shot at playing them. They compete again on January 19 when they host the Muddy River Counselors.
