The #2 Jackson Victors defeated the #7 Scott County Flames 64-18 Saturday evening to advance to the next round to face the #3 Laurel Knighthawks.
The Victors started off at a tempered pace, not blowing the lead up quickly. But after they were up 17-7. The Victors went on a 23-0 run, which put Scott County away.
Jackson was able to cruise to a first round victory over the Flames by a score of 64-18.
The #2 Jackson Victors now will face the #3 Laurel Knighthawks on Feb. 9 with an opportunity to advance to their 13th straight MSAHA Finals.
The #7 Scott County Flames will face the #6 Muddy River Counselors in an elimination game on Feb. 9.
